Health Care Aide (Part-Time & Casual)
Ponoka FCSS – Ponoka, AB

Pay: $21.66 – $29.17 per hour

Ponoka FCSS is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Health Care Aides to join our team in both part-time and casual roles. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to grow into full time hours.

Schedule:

- Casual: Minimum of three shifts per month
- Part-Time: Primarily evenings and weekends
- Hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Work takes place in both lodge and home settings

Key Responsibilities

- Provide medication assistance
- Assist clients with dressing and personal hygiene
- Support with respite care
- Assist with physiotherapy exercises
- Prepare light meals
- Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for clients

Qualifications & Requirements

- Health Care Aide Certificate (mandatory)
- Active status on the Health Care Aide Directory (mandatory)
- Previous experience in a related field
- Ability to work independently




- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance
- Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Strong sense of compassion and reliability when working with seniors and individuals with disabilities

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)
