About Us
After working for 14 years as a groomer in etobicoke Gillian decided to open her own shop in South Etobicoke with her Partner Kristen. Top Tier Tails is a growing grooming salon in Etobicoke focused on one thing above all:
humanity over vanity.
We care more about a pet’s comfort, safety, and experience than a “perfect” cut.
We are easy going, respectful, and we’ve both worked under bad bosses — so we’ve built the kind of environment we always wished we had.
No micromanaging. No toxic energy. Just good people doing great work.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced groomer (minimum 4 years) who:
- works hard and takes pride in their grooms
- is outstanding with pets AND people
- is calm, kind, and emotionally steady (even on tough days)
- uses common sense and communicates clearly
- treats every client with respect and care
- is honest and transparent (we never hide mistakes)
This is not a beginner position — we need someone confident and capable.
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available Sundays and Mondays
- Availability for evenings is a strong asset
- Shop hours are 9am–5pm, but we offer flexibility for clients when needed
- Opportunity to grow into consistent part-time or full-time hours
Pay Structure
- Commission-based: 55%–60% depending on experience and performance
- We provide clients, but bringing your own is a bonus (not required)
