Clark Exploration is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Core Logging Geologists to join our team in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for logging exploration drill core, collecting and interpreting geological data, and supervising diamond drill activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed geological logging of diamond drill core, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, structure, and veining.
- Ensure accurate sample marking, core layout, photography, and data entry into digital logging systems.
- Assist in developing and updating geological models and interpretations, when required
- Work closely with drill crews, field technicians, and senior geologists to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Maintain high standards of QA/QC for sampling, data collection, and chain-of-custody procedures.
- Support field duties such as core cutting supervision, sample shipment, and geotechnical measurements (RQD, recovery, structures).
- Participate in safety meetings, follow company safety policies, and contribute to a strong safety culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field (required).
- Eligibility or registration with a recognized professional association (e.g., PGO, M.I.T., G.I.T.)

- Previous experience core logging in mineral exploration (base metals, precious metals and critical minerals) preferred.
- Robust understanding of structural geology, mineral identification, and geotechnical logging.
- Proficiency with core logging and modelling software (MX Deposit, Leapfrog) an advantage.
- Ability to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, carry and move core boxes exceeding 40 lbs.

Work Conditions:

- Camp-based or site-based work environments depending on project location.
- Rotational schedules (e.g., 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 22 days on / 12 days off)
- Travel and accommodations provided during field rotations.
- Physically active role that includes lifting core boxes and working outdoors.
