Job Title: Electrician – Afternoon Shift

Job Summary: We are hiring a full-time, permanent Electrician for our Tier 1 automotive manufacturing client in Concord, ON. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the ongoing functionality of complex electrical systems in a high-output production environment.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Location: Concord, ON

Shift Structure: Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Monday to Friday

Compensation Structure: Competitive – based on experience, certification, and skill level + $0.75/hour shift premium

Responsibilities:

•Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems on production machinery.

•Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

•Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrades to electrical systems and equipment.

•Work with PLC systems, robotic systems, and other automated manufacturing technologies.





•Follow lockout/tagout procedures and ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards.

•Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

Skills/Qualifications:

•Preferred Certification: 442A Electrician License (Red Seal is a strong asset).

•Open to candidates actively pursuing licensing or those with strong foundational skills and eagerness to grow.

•Minimum 2 years experience working in a Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing environment.

•Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and troubleshooting.

•Strong understanding of Ontario electrical safety codes and manufacturing safety protocols.

•Reliable, safety-focused, and solutions-oriented with robust communication skills.
