Drive safety and health as a Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention Advisor. Lead the development and implementation of the MSIP program while mentoring managers and staff across multiple sites.
This role focuses on enhancing workplace safety through the MSIP Peer Resource and Coach program. As a member of the Occupational Health and Safety Department, you will work collaboratively with the Prevention Team, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC standards. Utilize your expertise to foster a culture of safety through effective coaching and mentoring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the MSIP program
• Lead coaching initiatives for staff and managers
• Monitor program effectiveness and compliance
• Collaborate with team members for safety promotion
• Evaluate and enhance MSI prevention strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or 3 years related experience
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal injury prevention
• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC regulations
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
