Responsibilities

- Serving ongoing client needs, providing advice, assessments and solutions.
- Driving new business growth by selling policies to new clients, while retaining existing relationships.
- Innovating lead generation strategies to maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Negotiating coverages, rates, and premiums with insurance underwriters to secure optimal solutions for clients.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as claims and underwriting, to ensure seamless client experiences.





Qualifications

Required:

- RIBO License is required*
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial lines insurance brokerage or insurance company
- Experience in a B2B sales environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Applied Systems is an asset

Skill Sets Required:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to independently generate and close sales leads
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
