The Chance

A growing, engineering-focused manufacturing organization is seeking an Engineering Project Supervisor to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects. This role blends technical expertise with leadership and project management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will lead cross-functional engineering efforts, drive process improvements, and play a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations and plant performance.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and manage a team responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and plant improvements
- Drive operational excellence through efficient plant design and process optimization
- Oversee engineering projects from planning through execution, resolving technical challenges along the way
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver engineering outputs aligned with customer and product requirements
- Maintain project timelines, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reporting
- Modify plant layouts based on internal and external requirements
- Identify and justify upgrades to equipment, processes, and workflows to improve performance
- Provide expertise in industrial engineering and process design across departments
- Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to enhance productivity
- Support commissioning of new equipment, production lines, and systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures,



and quality standards
- Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability
- Support additional initiatives aligned with business and operational goals

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
- 8–10 years of experience in engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in process improvement, product design, and mechanical systems
- Experience with metal cutting, forming, welding (manual and robotic), and machining
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and synchronous production methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, CATIA, or similar)
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Tools & Technology

- Experience with Solid Works, Mastercam, and MRP systems is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
