In this role, you will maintain and operate water distribution and wastewater systems effectively, supporting water quality initiatives. The candidate should have at least three years of relevant operational experience and the ability to navigate SCADA/PLC systems. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and managing quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on water infrastructure
• Manage water quality flushing, sampling, and analysis
• Respond to customer reports on water quality issues
• Ensure compliance with municipal and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate operational records and liaise with supervisors
Requirements:
• Diploma in Environmental Studies or equivalent
• Three years’ experience in water operations
• Certifications in Water Distribution/Collection
• Familiarity with Safe Drinking Water Act and regulations
• Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record required
