JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Community Engagement, the Multimedia Specialist is responsible for advancing the District’s visual communications to ensure consistent branding, effective online engagement and elevation of the District’s public image. This role focuses on designing and producing a wide range of print, web, and social media materials, creating compelling graphic design, photo and video content and supporting staff with infographics and presentations. The specialist leads the development of standardized templates and design guidelines, maintains brand consistency, and ensures accessibility of visual products.
Additional duties include acting as the corporate photographer/videographer and assisting with website and social media updates.
The ideal candidate brings advanced graphic design, videography and photography skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication abilities to help elevate the District’s public image and engagement efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Diploma in graphic design, multimedia design, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of three or more years’ training and experience.
- Advanced graphic design, videography and photography skills.
