Kick and Run is a fun, introductory soccer program designed to help young children develop basic soccer skills, coordination, and a love for physical activity. As a Kick and Run Soccer Instructor, you will lead age‑appropriate soccer activities, teach fundamental skills through games, and encourage teamwork, confidence, and active participation. Instructors are responsible for maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive program for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and organize fun, age‑appropriate soccer activities and drills
- Teach basic soccer skills such as kicking, dribbling, passing, and teamwork
- Create a positive, encouraging environment for young children ages 3-6
- Ensure participant safety and follow program guidelines
- Set up and take down equipment as required
- Communicate clearly and professionally with children, parents, and staff
- Travel to program locations throughout the city as scheduled
Requirements & Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in soccer
- Comfortable working independently and with young children
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to and from program locations throughout the city
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Teaching experience is an asset
- Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with kids
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Cleared Criminal Record Check
Hours and Location
- Ben Lee Park
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 28th to Septemper 10th
- Class 1: 4:00–4:45 PM
- Class 2: 5:00–5:45 PM
- 15 minutes of setup and takedown is required for each class
Pay
- Starting wage at 18.75 plus 4% in lieu of advantages
Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
