Premium Wine Consultant (Tasting Bar/Retail Sales)

Located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake on the Niagara Parkway, Lailey Winery is among the most respected producers in the region with nearly 50 years of winemaking excellence. We are passionate about crafting super-premium wines and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced and wine passionate individuals with at least 2 years of customer-focused sales experience within the wine industry to represent our brands (Stonebridge and Lailey) and drive wine sales in our retail store and tasting area. This position requires excellent hospitality skills, engaging storytelling, and the ability to build connections with guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging wine tastings that highlight our small batch, ultra premium wines and winemaking
- Support sales of wine, by-the-glass, and club memberships
- Maintain a polished, organized retail environment
- Perform POS transactions and store opening/closing duties
- Work collaboratively as part of the Lailey team





Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of hospitality, or premium sales experience
- Smart Serve certification (required)
- Passion for fine wine; (industry certifications, WSET etc, are an asset)
- Ability to stand, lift up to 20 kg, and work weekends/holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from Niagara-on-the-Lake

Weekend and holiday availability and wine knowledge and hospitality experience are required.
