Our client in Niagara Region, ON is actively looking for a Scrap and Raw Materials Supervisor to join their team.
Position Description: Oversee scrap inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient handling Inspect materials to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications Ensure proper sorting, labeling, and classification of scrap and raw materials Maintain adequate stock levels of alloys, electrodes,
and other materials to support production Monitor inventory to prevent shortages and production delays Receive and record incoming materials within inventory systems Support material charge planning based on specifications and production needs Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Lead and support team members to ensure smooth daily operations Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications: Secondary school diploma or equivalent required + years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment preferred Experience with scrap or raw material handling is an asset Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Solid communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with computer systems and strong numerical aptitude Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a strong focus on quality and operational efficiency If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
