Automotive Service Advisor – West Edmonton Volkswagen

At West Edmonton Volkswagen, great service starts with great people. We’re looking for a motivated Service Advisor who can combine automotive knowledge with outstanding customer care to deliver a seamless service experience for drivers of **Volkswagen vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement
Welcome every guest with professionalism and warmth. Listen carefully to vehicle concerns and translate customer feedback into clear, accurate repair orders for technicians.

Service Coordination
Schedule appointments efficiently, manage workflow, and keep customers informed throughout the service process.

Estimates & Transparency
Provide clear repair estimates with timelines and costs. Explain recommended services, manufacturer maintenance, and optional services in a straightforward, transparent manner.

Execution & Follow-Up
Work closely with technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately. Review completed work orders and invoices with customers and follow up after service to ensure satisfaction.

Sales & Growth
Identify appropriate maintenance or repair opportunities that add value for the customer, presenting them with credibility and without pressure.

Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate service documentation, customer records, and service menus to support efficient dealership operations.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in an automotive service or dealership environment preferred
- Familiarity with vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures




- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and integrity
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required; manual transmission experience is an asset
- Experience with Volkswagen vehicles is considered an asset but not required
