Our client, a reputable and well-established builder specializing in commercial retail renovations, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead projects in Moose Jaw. This role is ideal for a strong, decisive leader who thrives in fast-paced retail environments, understands the importance of tight schedules, and places safety above all else.

Retail never stops — and neither does progress. These projects run overnight to minimize disruption to store operations, requiring a Superintendent who can manage trades efficiently, enforce high standards, and deliver on aggressive timelines without compromising safety or quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all on-site construction activities during night shifts, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
- Push schedules proactively while maintaining quality workmanship and compliance standards.
- Champion a safety-first culture — enforce site safety protocols with zero tolerance for shortcuts.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics within an operational retail environment.
- Conduct site meetings, track progress,



and report updates to Project Management.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid delays or disruptions to store operations.
- Ensure the site is clean, secure, and ready for daytime retail operations.

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years’ experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial construction (retail renovation experience strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage accelerated schedules and multi-trade coordination.
- Solid leadership presence — confident, direct, and accountable.
- Deep commitment to job site safety and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working in occupied or operational environments is a significant asset.
- Ability to work consistent night shifts in Moose Jaw.
