POSITION OVERVIEW

Join our dynamic team as a Shift Leader, where you’ll extend beyond your primary job duties to take on leadership responsibilities. You will be scheduled leadership shifts to oversee the smooth operation of our venue during your shifts and be responsible for coordinating and supervising staff activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Your role is pivotal in creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests, while fostering a positive and productive work environment for team members.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in your primary role.
- Ability to energize and motivate a team.
- Excellent at socializing and love working with people.
- Organized while working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Knowledgeable about the products and services relevant to your role (e.g., drink recipes, guest services protocols).
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a bar/restaurant/hospitality setting is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Leadership qualities,



including the ability to inspire and guide team members.
- Adaptable to work effectively as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- This role alternates between your regular scheduled shifts in your primary position and shifts dedicated solely to shift leading.
- Ensure a high standard of product knowledge and service, both in food and beverage programs and in guest services.
- Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience and address any concerns.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during your shift, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the work area, maintaining a hygienic and inviting workplace.
- Work closely with your front-of-house and back-of-house teams to create the best guest experience possible.
- Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during your shift, employing effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

- Hourly wage ($17 per hour)
