Job Description: We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist to work with one of our clients, a Military Defence manufacturing facility in Ingersoll, ON!

Job Location: Ingersoll, ON

Job Type: Full-time, permanent.

Shift Structure: Monday to Friday; day-shift position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program and optimize CNC machinery, automation, and robotics to boost performance
- Develop and validate tooling and gauging systems with applied GD&T; principles
- Analyze processes and implement lean manufacturing best practices
- Maintain detailed technical documentation—SOPs, APQP, ITPs
- Collaborate with production and engineering to solve urgent issues
- Lead process-improvement projects from ideation to implementation

Requirements/Qualifications:

- 3-Year Post-Secondary Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
- 7–10 years in manufacturing engineering or machining
- Expertise in CNC machining and programming (Fanuc, Okuma, etc.), robotics, and tooling systems
- Solid understanding of GD&T;, gauging, and machining practices
- Strong understanding of APQP Processes, SOPs and ITPs
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks
- Excellent troubleshooting, project coordination, and communication skills
