Job Description: Our client, a Military Defense Manufacturer is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their busy warehouse located in Ingersoll, Ontario! The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and directing daily maintenance activities for the facility and providing leadership to maintenance unionized employees.

Job Location: Ingersoll, ON

Job Type: Full-time, permanent.

Shift Structure: Monday to Friday, 3 Shift Bi-Weekly Rotation

Compensation: From $80,000/ year to start + excellent benefits + profit sharing + tuition reimbursement and more!

Job Duties:

- Coordinating daily production operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and comply with department targets
- Monitor processes to ensure quality standards are met, utilizing problem-solving and corrective action strategies
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with quality and operational standards.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs, coordinate repairs and support process improvements
- Must be adherent to company policies, workplace agreements, and enforce health and safety regulations, including conducting regular safety talks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate material movement and workflow optimization
- Administer first-aid as needed (valid certification required)
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years industrial experience in trades such as electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation and mechanics.
- Post-secondary education within a related field is highly preferred.




- Must have a valid Red Seal certification - Millwright/Electrician
- Must have a valid First-Aid/CPR Certificate
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of design plant improvements and preventable maintenance program
- Standardize procedures
- Must be able to work an adjustment work schedule
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Knowledge of Labour Relations and current Collective Agreement

- Ability to work with all levels in the company and outside contractors and vendors
