Position Overview

The Bar Back is a critical support role that keeps the bar running efficiently. This position is responsible for stocking, organization, and assisting bartenders so they can focus on making drinks and serving guests.

This is a fast-paced, physical role that requires urgency, awareness, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Keep all bars fully stocked throughout the shift (liquor, beer, ice, garnishes, glassware)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar at all times
- Restock fridges, beer wells, and liquor quickly and efficiently
- Assist bartenders during peak service to maintain speed and flow
- Change kegs and manage beer systems as needed
- Remove empty bottles, garbage, and recycling regularly
- Ensure glassware is clean, polished,



and readily available
- Assist with bar setup before service and full teardown after close
- Communicate constantly with bartenders to anticipate needs
- Follow all SPURS standards for cleanliness, organization, and efficiency

Preferred Experience

- Experience in a bar or restaurant environment is an asset
- Familiarity with bar operations and setup is a bonus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
