The physio will have regular referrals from the other health practitioners in our clinic and the wider community. As well, we have a strong internet presence and social marketing strategy that help drive new patient leads.
New grads, as well as experienced physiotherapists may apply.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on current research and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
Experience
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience while working with diverse patient populations.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
