Hiring Culinary Co-op Student/Line Cook The culinary vision for The Grove is a down-to-earth philosophy, with a focus on utilizing the bounty of the Niagara Region. For applicants, you can expect to see culinary techniques such as curing, brining and smoking various products, as well as made from scratch cookery using local growers and purveyors!

Position Requirements
n
- The ideal candidate will need to be a positive team player with willingness to learn and contribute to the vision of The Grove.
- For culinary students looking to obtain Red Seal certification, you will work alongside, Chef Nathan Young, a Red Seal Chef! Any hours accumulated can be applied toward your Red Seal certification.
- Have a valid Safe Food Handlers certificate.
- Positive, energetic, organized.
- Must demonstrate a strong attitude toward teamwork.
- Positive working knowledge of culinary terms and practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced workplace.
- Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs, stand for long durations, bend, reach, twist, as well as navigate stairs.
- Work in both hot and cold environments.
- Good communication skills.
- Available for day, evenings and weekend shifts as required.
- Able to work unsupervised or in a team setting.

Wage: $18 - 20, depending on experience
