The role
As Creative Lead, you'll manage a small team of designers and video editors while staying hands-on yourself across 2–3 accounts. Your work sets the bar. Your presence keeps the team sharp. You'll work closely with Creative Strategy, grounding decisions in performance data and contributing to what gets tested and why. You'll develop your direct reports—their craft, their confidence, and their career path—while building client trust on your accounts and bringing a POV to how the team operates over time.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a team of designers and video editors, owning their performance, development, and career growth
- Produce high-quality digital advertising creative across 2–3 client accounts, design and video both in scope
- Own creative direction on your accounts, from brief interpretation through final delivery and QA
- Give meaningful, direct feedback to your team, you raise the bar without micromanaging
- Collaborate closely with Creative Strategy on brief development, creative hypotheses, and pipeline planning
- Stay close to creative performance data, participate in reviews and testing discussions, and bring a sharp creative perspective to what's working and why
- Balance brand integrity with direct-response objectives, and actively develop that instinct in your team
- Partner with the UGC team on concept development, briefing, and QA for UGC creative
- Contribute to client-facing conversations, pitch creative recommendations, build trust with key contacts, and coach your team to do the same
- Contribute to creative standards, workflows, and SOPs that make quality more repeatable across the team
What we're looking for
- 4–7 years in design or creative roles, with a portfolio that shows robust social and performance creative
- Experience managing or mentoring other creatives, you know how to develop people without losing your own output quality
- A clear, confident creative POV, you make decisive creative calls and can articulate the reasoning behind them
- Proven experience in DTC, performance, or social-first creative, you know what it takes to stop the scroll and convert
- Comfort with performance data, you can read creative metrics and let them sharpen, not flatten, your instincts
- You're actively using AI tools in your creative process. Whether for ideation, concepting, or production, you have a point of view on how it should and shouldn't be used
- Strong collaborator, you work well alongside strategists, account leads, and clients, and you're at your best when disciplines are genuinely integrated
- Experience with Meta and Google creative analytics tools is a strong asset
- Fluency in UGC and creator content is highly preferred
- Agency experience strongly preferred, you know how to move fast without sacrificing quality
What success looks like
- Your accounts are delivering creative that performs and you understand why
- Your direct reports are growing in craft, in strategic thinking, and in confidence, because you've made their development your responsibility
- The team's output quality is visibly higher because of the standards and feedback culture you've built
- Client relationships on your accounts are strong, you're a trusted creative partner, not just a producer
- Strategy and production feel like one integrated team, not two departments handing off to each other
We're growing our client base and deepening our creative capabilities, and we want creative leadership that reflects that ambition. You'll have real ownership and the support of leadership that treats creative as a competitive advantage, not just a delivery function.
