Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated dairy farm worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in milking cows using modern equipment , cleaning equipment and facilities, feeding livestock, bedding stalls, repairing equipment and help to support the effective running of our farm. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks essential for successful farm management.
Duties
Operate farm equipment such as skid steer loader safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on milking and barn equipment
Conduct general farm maintenance including fencing, building repairs, and equipment upkeep
Assist with cattle handling for examination and treatment
Support in storing harvested products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
Prior experience working on a dairy farm or with cattle for a minimum of 6 months is highly regarded
Early morning and late evenings availability are a must.
Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery is an asset
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
Physical stamina to work in hot and cold conditions standing and walking for extended periods
Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work as part of a team

Pay: $17.60 per hour
