The Weaver Group Limited Sexsmith Shop is currently seeking: Shop and Yard Labourers

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard.
- Handle parts and material pickups, deliveries and hotshots.
- Oversee material shipping and receiving processes.
- Fleet Management including vehicle and equipment detailing as required
- Management of C-Cans, fuel station, propane station, job shacks & trailers.
- Miscellaneous duties: painting, bolt up, pressure washing, cleaning and organizing
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge / Experience:

- Prior experience working in a shop workplace.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction and its components.




- Experience with overhead crane operation is considered an asset.

Qualifications:

- Able to operate: skid steer / bobcat, front end loader, telehandler and move heavy equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Comfortable operating a range of hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the role.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
- Must have reliable cell phone.

Education / Certification:

- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Valid CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- Valid AB Standard/Intermediate First Aid with Level C CPR with AED
- Valid H2S (Energy Safety Canada issued)
- Valid AB Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Certification for operating skid steers, aerial lift platforms, telehandlers, and front-end loaders is preferred.
