We offer a variety of Mandarin & Cantonese classes for children both virtually and three locations across the Greater Toronto Area. We are a Toronto-based company but with a North American reach, and our teachers are trained with a focus on the needs of students in the US and Canada.

Our programs are highly interactive through storytelling, music, games, and art but also with a strong focus on practical applications of Mandarin & Cantonese. Our students are well supported by a highly qualified teaching team as well as modern content & tools to help them keep engaged outside the classroom.

We are looking to fill positions in three locations and online:

- Etobicoke (68 Daisy Ave)
- Markham (105 Gibson Dr)
- Midtown (3217 Yonge St)
- Danforth (TBD)
- Virtual (Zoom)

Qualifications:

- Fluent in Cantonese and English – reading, speaking, and writing Traditional Chinese/jyutping.
- 1‐2 years experience in teaching preferred.
- High energetic, creative, and great with young children is a must!
- Adaptable work schedule – weekend availability required,



with possible after-school times possible.
- Mandarin Speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities:

- Review lesson materials, deliver fun and engaging Cantonese lessons to children from 2-12 years old in an in-person class settings, and support outside of classroom learning by uploading audio, video, and photos of lesson materials.
- Note progress & feedback for students in order to help them advance and improve their Cantonese language learning.
- Work with an enthusiastic and supportive team with opportunities to develop/improve our curriculum and get opportunities for career advancement.
- Represent Panda Mandarin and engage with parents who may participate in the class with their child or come to pick-up/drop-off.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
