For our younger campers, our multi-activity camp features exciting weekly themes like Dinosaurs, Pirates, Space, and more. ABOUT THE ROLE
Toronto Kidz is seeking a proactive and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support our Summer Camp operations across multiple locations.
This is a full-time, in person role from June 15 to August 28, 2026, with Camp programming running from June 29 to August 28, 2026.
The Logistics Coordinator will support the camp and its Camp Directors and Area Managers with coordinating lunches, supplies, field trips and general logistics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced workplace, problem-solving, and hands-on coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supply and Inventory Management:
- Assemble and organize all the supplies during pre-camp weeks(Jun 15-26)
- Distributing supplies to all camp locations during pre-camp weeks. Supplies such as craft materials, first aid kits, board games, etc,
- Monitor inventory levels and manage daily restocking, including purchasing supplies as needed (e.g. routine Dollarama runs) and coordinating distribution across all camp locations.
- Maintain and organize storage units (Roncesvalles and Apple storage)
- Creating an inventory overview for the Roncesvalles storage unit.
Field trips:
- Prepare and finalize field trip information sheets for staff..
- Meet groups onsite to support organization and entry.
- Coordinate field trip logistics including payments, headcounts, and communication with the team.
- Track bus schedules, routes and coordinate with Area Managers and Registrations Coordinator.
Lunch and snack program coordination:
- Coordinate daily lunch packages by placing orders and communicating with lunch providers/vendors.
- Purchase and distribute snacks across all locations.
- Track and maintain snack inventory.
General logistics:
- Support with creating staff guidelines, information sheets, and counsellor binders.
- Coordinating the lunch orders for Subway sandwiches and Pizza lunches by placing orders, mitigating issues, etc.
- Support with coordination and organization of birthday cards of all 10 locations.
- Ensure smooth day to day logistics across all camp locations.
- Provide ongoing operational support to Camp Directors and Area Managers.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING(REQUIREMENTS):
- Available and committed to working full-time, Monday to Friday, from June 15 - August 28, 2026.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a car (mileage reimbursement will be provided).
- Flexible to travel between multiple camp locations daily.
- Complete a valid and recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check (not older than 6 months) at your own expense prior to the start of employment.
- Provide a valid and current Standard First Aid & CPR, level C, certificate at your own expense prior to the start of employment.
- Previous experience working in a team environment is mandatory.
- Previous experience working at a summer camp is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, personable and flexible.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains professionalism towards all staff, campers and parents..
- Strong sense of ownership over their role and tasks.
- Independent and pro-active work ethic.
