Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Rate: $64 per hour

Location: Various sites across British Columbia under the Health Authorities and service delivery areas, including hospitals, long-term care, remote nursing stations, and other healthcare settings.

Job Type: Independent Contractor

- 8 hours per shifts, 12 hours per shifts

Job Summary:

We are hiring dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapists across British Columbia. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services that support clients in achieving independence in self-care, productivity, and leisure activities. Working as part of interdisciplinary teams, you will deliver evidence-based, culturally safe, and client-centered care in accordance with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) Practice Standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and treat clients to improve or restore occupational function
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Recommend and train in the use of assistive devices and adaptive strategies
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and community supports
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Supervise and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides
- Contribute to quality improvement and program development

Qualifications

- Licensure: Current and active registration in valuable standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
- Experience:



Minimum 18 months of relevant clinical experience for positions within BC Health Authorities
- Clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: mental health, geriatrics, acute care, rehabilitation, or community-based care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – current and valid
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based treatment delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including accurate clinical documentation

Job Title: Registered Physiotherapist

Rate: $65 per hour

Location: Various sites across British Columbia under the Health Authorities and service delivery areas, including hospitals, long-term care, remote nursing stations, and other healthcare settings.

Job Summary:

We are seeking Physiotherapists to join interdisciplinary teams across British Columbia. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve function.



Care is delivered in accordance with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) standards and guided by evidence-based practice and client-centered care principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess physical function and mobility using clinical tools and observation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and education
- Prescribe and train in mobility aids and assistive equipment
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress
- Document assessments, goals, and outcomes in clinical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members on care planning and discharge
- Supervise and guide Physiotherapy Assistants (as applicable)
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
- Experience: Minimum of 18 months relevant work experience for all BC Health Authorities
- Minimum of 24 months of relevant work experience for FNHA Assignments.
- Experience in acute care, outpatient rehab, long-term care, or community health is an asset
- Valid BC driver’s license (if applicable)
- Strong clinical reasoning and therapeutic skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months
