One of our clients is seeking a Millwright at Winnipeg, MB location for their manufacturing faciltiy.

Shift - Days, Afternoon Nights Available

Pay - $48-$51/hr

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, align, dismantle, and maintain machinery such as refiners, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and paper machine components.

- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure smooth operation of production lines.

- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment failures.

- Conduct regular inspections of plant machinery to identify wear, damage, or potential safety issues.

- Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, laser alignment tools, dial indicators) to ensure equipment alignment and performance.

- Work closely with production and engineering teams to support equipment modifications or upgrades.

- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

- Fabricate, weld, or machine parts when necessary to support maintenance and repair tasks.





- Follow safety and environmental regulations as per mill and industry standards.

- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation of all work performed.

Qualifications:

- Valid Industrial Millwright License or equivalent trade certification.

- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, and rotating equipment.

- Experience with paper machine components, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes is a robust asset.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

- Skilled in welding, machining, and use of precision alignment tools.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
