Job Description:

As a member of the Housekeeping team, you are incredibly well-organized, detail-oriented, and guest-focused. You have a knack for cleaning guest rooms to the highest possible standards, reporting maintenance deficiencies to ensure perfection, handling guest requests without hesitation, and ensuring the complete confidentiality and security of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sort and organize dirty linen from laundry chute room into bins for offsite laundering
- Operate in-house washers and dryers, adding necessary chemicals and cleaning lint traps
- Identifying stained or damaged items and determining status for repair or disposal
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness and condition
- Sort and fold all items for re-stock as active inventory, to be repaired or for discard
- Wash uniforms and hotel soft goods in house as needed
- Prepare all outgoing dirty uniforms and employee dry cleaning for offsite laundering
- Receive,



sort and distribute all incoming clean uniforms and staff dry cleaning
- Maintaining appropriate logs and records for all transactions
- Assist staff with assigning uniforms and request for sizing changes
- Conduct inventory of all supplies such as uniforms, rags, chemicals, etc.
- Work with Housekeeping leadership to plan uniform replacement stock
- Perform alterations/repairs to items such as hems, zippers, buttons, curtains, bathrobes
- Perform additional duties, as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar capacity within an upper-upscale hotel is considered an asset
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up 22.5 kilograms (50 pounds) without assistance
- Capable of frequent bending, standing and walking for extended periods of time
- High school diploma / G.E.D. equivalent
- Fluent English language skills: both written and verbal.
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions
- A team player with proven success in relationship building
- Strong ability to prioritize, multitask and work with a sense of urgency
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $25.64-$34.19 per hour
