Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced setting, ensuring excellent customer service and food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer interaction within a dynamic food industry setting.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to meet health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas, adhering to sanitation standards
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service during peak hours
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods




- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred, especially in restaurant or food industry environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
