RunReady is advancing the sport through research, innovation, and education. Led by Physiotherapists, our running health brand, studies the human body and running footwear to help people run healthier and perform better.
RunReady is part of a company that includes RunAsYouAre, a Vancouver-based specialty shop offering top footwear, apparel, and accessories. Since 2013, RunAsYouAre has supported the local running community through weekly runs and events.
RunReady has launched the RunReady Performance Program, a recent running health service available exclusively at the RunAsYouAre West 4th Avenue shop.

THE ROLE
As the RunReady Operations Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind every step of the client journey at the RunReady studio—exclusively offered inside the RunAsYouAre West 4th Avenue shop. From appointment booking to delivering an exceptional in-studio experience and leading the footwear matching process, you'll guide clients at every stage of their RunReady journey.
You’ll work closely with both the RunReady and RunAsYouAre teams to ensure seamless operations and a welcoming, health-centered environment. Your role spans client experience, footwear guidance, studio administration, and sales support. You’ll also build relationships with clients, community partners, and local runners to drive service bookings and elevate brand visibility.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Operations, and Community teams to support RunReady programs and expand our reach through special initiatives and events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RunReady Studio Client Experience | 50%• Host RunReady clients, creating a welcoming, attractive and health centred client experience.

- Check in clients for appointments, orient them to the studio space,



and ensure they feel comfortable and supported.
- Provide studio tours for new clients to familiarize them with the studio's offerings.
- Maintain the studio’s appearance, including ongoing housekeeping, supply management, and towel service.
- Address client questions and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
- Lead the RunReady x RunAsYouAre Footwear Match experience for RunReady clients. Seamlessly blend expert footwear knowledge, the RunAsYouAre footwear fitting process and our in-house developed runready.io (http://runready.io) platform to support RunReady clients find their perfect footwear match.
- Stay informed on emerging footwear technologies and RunAsYouAre’s product assortment.
- Communicate product features and benefits confidently to help clients find their ideal footwear and drive sales.
- Convert walk-ins and inquiries into booked appointments by effectively communicating the benefits of RunReady Performance Program services.
- Foster client relationships to drive repeat visits and long-term service use.
- Support therapists by discussing and promoting follow through on the plan of care developed through the RunReady Performance Program.
- Collaborate with retail staff to cross-promote studio services with in-store products.

RunReady Operations | 50%• Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of Studio business

- Manage all client scheduling, including new appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations, ensuring the calendar runs efficiently.
- Accountable for a controllable budget; labour hours; annual goals and targets.




- Establish key results for the Studio and communicate to all team members.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols in the studio space.
- Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on studio operations and promotions and suggest improvements.
- Manage the store’s hiring process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
- Manage and support brand activations and key marketing initiatives held in-store or off-site.
- Accurately handle client billing and process insurance claims as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willing to work a flexible schedule when required
- Willing to work as part of a team and also complete work independently

COMPENSATION
Compensation will include a competitive base salary, plus bonus opportunities and other perks and benefits.
