THE OPPERTUNITY:

Bookkeeper (3+ Years Experience)

As our Bookkeeper, you’ll be the financial backbone of the team ensuring accurate transactions, up-to-date records, and insightful reports that help drive smart decisions. This role goes beyond data entry as you’ll help shape operations, maintain compliance, and keep the company financially healthy.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage day-to-day accounting: AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Perform monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Track expenses, job costs, and budgets




- Maintain accurate financial records and charts of accounts
- Handle cash flow: bank reconciliations, deposits, and payments
- Prepare GST, T4/T5 filings, and support audits
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and external partners
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, capital calls, and process improvements

What you Bring

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years bookkeeping, 2+ years accounting experience preferred

Technical Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana)
- Hands-on with accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks Online)

Assets

- CPA designation (preferred, not required)

Character & Skills

- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
- Reliable, collaborative, and independent
- Strong communicator with a worldly perspective
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
