About the Role

We are hiring a Carpenter to join our production team in a specialized role focused on frame shaping for cabinet doors. This position requires a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to fine detail. You will be responsible for shaping, profiling, and inspecting frames and panels to meet exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Shape and profile cabinet door frames using specialized shaping equipment
- Inspect parts for consistency in dimensions and quality of finish
- Maintain shaping machines and tools in proper working condition
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Collaborate with other departments (assembly, sanding, shipping)

- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Skills & Experience

- Millwork or cabinet manufacturing
- Strong measuring skills (imperial & metric)
- Proven ability to work with shapers and other woodworking machinery
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production environment
- Ability to switch tasks based on daily production flow

Bonus Points For:

- Experience with frame shaping or cabinet door production
- Understanding of wood species and grain direction
- Familiarity with reading cutlists and shop drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
