Position: Regular Part-Time Residence Support Worker

Location: Burnaby, BC

Salary: $27.53 - $31.57

Hours: 25.0 hours Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 8:00AM-3:30PM Monday & Tuesday 4:00PM-9:00PM

Responsibilities:

- Support people in a shared-living home to have positive control of their home and to be active members of their community
- Communicates with people in American Sign Language as their preferred mode of communication
- Ensuring that individuals are connected to friends and family.
- Providing individuals with the opportunity to make meaningful choices
- Encouraging and recognizing individuals' contributions
- Ensuring that individuals are safe and to promote their health and well-being

Qualifications:





- Graduation from a Community College with an appropriate diploma or certificate in Human Services OR an equivalent of education and experience.
- American Sign Language required.
- Current First Aid & CPR, NCI training (both provided by BACI), TB screening.
- Valid unrestricted BC Class 5 Driver’s License required.
