Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care, senior care, patient care, and daily living routines, including support for individuals with disabilities or dementia.
- Prepare meals, help with household cleaning, and provide home care and caregiving support.
- Support medication administration and secure movement, including heavy lifting when appropriate to the person’s needs and safe working practices.
- Apply relevant approaches from assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or nursing settings when supporting individuals at home.

Skills

Required: Communicate in Punjabi and provide patient, respectful assistance with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and daily routines. Use sound judgment when supporting medication administration and physical assistance, while respecting individual preferences and safety.
Preferred: Assisted living, home care, senior care, caregiving, nursing home, hospice, dementia, disability-support, or nursing experience can strengthen your ability to adapt care to different needs.
