PART-TIME NANNY WANTED
- AIRDRIE, ALBERTA We are the Olutosin family, a warm and welcoming Nigerian-Canadian family residing in the vibrant community of Airdrie, Alberta. We are looking for a caring, responsible, trustworthy, and dependable nanny to join our family and provide loving care for our two children, aged 4 and 7 years old. This is initially a part-time position, with the potential to transition into a full-time role over the coming years as our family's needs evolve. The position offers an hourly wage of $15. As a Nigerian-Canadian family, we also value our cultural heritage and connection to our roots. A nanny who speaks Yoruba would be a wonderful asset, as we would love for our children to have opportunities to connect with and appreciate their Nigerian heritage and language. However, speaking Yoruba is an asset rather than a requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will assist with the children's daily routines, childcare, and light household duties, including: Childcare and School Responsibilities Helping the children get ready for school in the mornings. Dropping off and picking up the children from school. Supervising and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities. Assisting with homework, reading, and other learning activities. Ensuring the children's safety, comfort, and overall well-being at all times. Helping establish and maintain positive daily routines. Meal Preparation and Household Responsibilities Preparing light meals and snacks for the children.



Assisting with general meal preparation when needed. Washing, folding, and organizing the children's laundry. Keeping the kitchen tidy, including washing dishes and wiping down counters. General tidying and organization of common living areas. Light household cleaning, including sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces as needed. Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. Please note that childcare is the primary responsibility, alongside light housekeeping and household support to help keep our home running smoothly. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE We are hoping to find someone who: Has a genuine love for children and a passion for childcare. Has previous childcare or nanny experience. Is patient, nurturing, responsible, and dependable. Is trustworthy and demonstrates good judgment. Has good communication skills and is comfortable working collaboratively with parents. Is flexible and willing to grow with our family. Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for school drop-offs and pick-ups. Speaks Yoruba (an asset, but not a requirement).
