We are a friendly family looking for a trustworthy, responsible and dependable person to help us with occasional evening babysitting and light household tasks and/or yard work (shovel / rake). Schedule:
- Approximately once a week or every other week.
- Evening shifts, generally 6:30 PM-11:30 PM or 7 PM-midnight.
- Occasional Friday or Saturday evenings.
- $20-25/hour to start, depending on experience.

About the role
We have a sweet little one who has a very consistent bedtime routine and typically sleeps through the night. We will take care of the entire bedtime routine before leaving. Your primary responsibility will be to remain in our home, supervise our sleeping baby using the baby monitor, and respond appropriately if she wakes or needs attention. While she is sleeping, we'd love some help with household tasks such as:
- Kitchen cleanup and dishes.
- Folding and putting away laundry.
- General tidying and organizing.
- Light cleaning and vacuuming.
- Snow removal from front steps.
- Meal preparation, chopping vegetables and preparing food for the following days. Ideal candidate:
- Trustworthy, mature and responsible.




- Comfortable caring for a baby/toddler.
- Able to remain awake and attentive throughout the evening.
- Basic infant/child first aid and CPR preferred.
- Previous babysitting or childcare experience preferred.
- Organized and comfortable with housekeeping and meal prep.
- References required. We are looking for someone interested in building an ongoing relationship with our family, even though the hours are occasional.
