Drive financial reporting and forecasting with Crown Paper Group as a Full time Financial Analyst. Advanced Excel supports accurate, actionable business intelligence.

This Finance Analyst works closely with the Finance Director across three production facilities and the broader Finance & Analytics team. You will maintain reporting packages, consolidate MBR materials, and analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior years. The position also supports annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, mid-month outlooks, and financial models. Collaboration with Accounting, Operations, and other departments helps maintain consistent data and meaningful outputs. Crown Paper Group operates across the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada through paper, containerboard, converting, and distribution businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Update recurring monthly reporting packages with accurate information




- Prepare variance commentary for actual, budget, forecast, and prior-year results
- Coordinate business-unit inputs for annual budgeting models
- Maintain rolling forecasts and flag risks and opportunities
- Build models for scenarios, sensitivity analysis, and ad-hoc requests

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline
- Three to five years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas and pivot tables
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and detail skills
