Role: Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

Fully Remote – Canada Time Zones: EDT / PDT Rate: $50 CAD/hr minimum Duration: Contract

Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps experience to maintain and support cloud-based and desktop software products. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, application troubleshooting, and software maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain software products, ensuring security, reliability, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and implement software fixes and patches.
- Reverse engineer and document end-to-end application architecture.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform security updates, software patching, and performance optimization.




- Support cloud-based and desktop applications. Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong AWS or GCP experience.
- Experience with Go, JavaScript, React, and full-stack applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, Terraform, Linux, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Buildkite).
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Robust ownership, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have
- C# desktop application development.
- gRPC, Protobuf, and Unity.
- TestFlight, Electron, and application installers.
- Experience with both AWS and GCP.
