About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Maximo Functional Consultant to own functional design and configuration for a major US-based client project. In this role, you will act as the functional subject matter expert, leading requirements and design workshops, configuring core Maximo functionality end-to-end (work, asset, and procurement management), and defining functional requirements for seamless integration between Maximo and enterprise ERP systems. This is a remote contract position available to qualified candidates located anywhere in North America.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Design & Workshops: Lead functional requirements gathering and solution design workshops for work management, asset management, and procurement processes.
- Core Maximo Configuration: Configure Organizations and Sites, Security Groups, Application Designer, Database Configuration, and Workflow processes.
- Asset & Work Management: Configure assets, locations, classifications, service requests, work orders, Job Plans, PMs (calendar and seasonal), as well as planning and scheduling modules.
- Procurement & Supply Chain: Configure the complete vendor and contractor lifecycle, including quotes, requisitions, purchase orders (POs), receiving, and invoicing.
- Mobile Solutions: Configure Maximo Mobile to optimize workflows for field technicians and supervisors.




- ERP Integration: Define functional requirements, data mappings, and business rules for integrating IBM Maximo with SAP or other financial/purchasing ERP platforms in collaboration with technical integration teams.
- Implementation Support: Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training documentation development, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare. Required Qualifications

Experience:
Hands-on experience configuring IBM Maximo, with a proven track record as the lead functional consultant on at least 3 full-cycle implementations (owning design and configuration, not solely end-user, super-user, or PM responsibilities).
- Deep Functional & Administrative Expertise: Demonstrated expertise configuring Organizations/Sites, Security Groups, Application Designer, Database Configuration, and Workflow management.
- End-to-End Module Configuration: Extensive experience configuring work management (assets, locations, classifications, PMs, scheduling) and procurement cycles (quotes, requisitions, POs, receipts, invoices).
- Mobile Field Deployment: Hands-on experience configuring Maximo Mobile for supervisor and field technician roles.
- Functional ERP Integration:



Strong functional experience specifying Maximo-to-ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) integrations for financial and procurement data flows.

Must be based in North America and eligible to work on contracts originating in Canada/US. Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x / 9.x) or Maximo Manage, Health, and Monitor modules.
- Formal IBM Maximo Certifications.
