Job Summary Join our festive team at the Shipyards Christmas Market We’re a small, friendly focaccia hut serving freshly baked focaccia to market-goers in the heart of Lower Lonsdale. This seasonal role is ideal for someone who loves food, enjoys a lively holiday atmosphere, and likes talking with customers. No two shifts feel the same, and you’ll be part of a cosy, high-energy market experience. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders at the hut window
- Package focaccia
- Handle cash and card payments accurately using a POS system
- Recommend flavours and answer questions about ingredients and allergens
- Keep the hut clean, organized and stocked throughout your shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help set up and close down the hut each day
- Work as part of a small team,



keeping service fast and friendly during busy rushes Your impact: Helpful product guidance and accurate transactions make shopping easier for visitors and help colleagues keep the market running smoothly. Skills Required:
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [20] lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold, wet winter weather
- Reliable, punctual and able to work weekends and evenings
- Able to work in Canada Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
