Job Summary We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care, assess functional abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans. The role focuses on improving independence and participation in daily activities at home, school, work, and in the community. Duties
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities, considering their individual needs and goals.
- Develop and implement evidence-informed occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Support daily living skills, self-care, functional rehabilitation, and participation in meaningful activities.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications when indicated.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support progress.
- Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Obtain and document informed consent in accordance with applicable BC requirements.




- Practise within professional competence and applicable CHCPBC standards. Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in occupational therapy from a recognized program or an equivalent qualification accepted by the regulator.
- Current practising licence in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
- Professional liability insurance that meets current CHCPBC requirements.
- Compliance with applicable BC criminal record screening requirements.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a rehabilitation or multidisciplinary clinic setting is an asset. Pay: $40,000.00-$101,000.00 per year
