Job Summary Montclair medicine clinic is seeking a full-time Family Physician Assistant (International Medical Graduate / IMG) to support a family physician in the delivery of patient care under direct physician supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for an IMG seeking hands-on Canadian clinical experience in a busy family practice. The successful candidate will assist with patient assessments, documentation, care coordination, and clinic operations while working closely with the supervising physician. All clinical activities will be performed under the direct supervision and within the direction of the supervising physician. The role does not involve independent diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing.

- Flexible, we are offering Monday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m
- Approximately 40-60 hours per week based on your availability

- Assist the family physician with patient interviews, history-taking, and physical examinations under supervision
- Document patient encounters, histories, assessment notes, and follow-up plans in the EMR
- Record and monitor vital signs and other clinical measurements
- Prepare patients for examinations and support patient flow throughout the clinic
- Prepare requisitions, referrals, forms, and follow-up documentation as directed by the physician
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and follow-up plans
- Assist with prescription renewals, laboratory follow-up, imaging follow-up, and care coordination under physician direction
- Support minor procedures, injections, and other clinical tasks only where permitted by training, certification, and applicable regulations
- Maintain accurate, confidential,



and timely medical records
- Follow clinic policies, privacy requirements, infection-control procedures, and professional standards
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned by the supervising physician Requirements
- International Medical Graduate (IMG) status required or strongly preferred
- Medical degree from a recognized international medical school
- Solid clinical knowledge, history-taking, and physical-examination skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to document accurately and efficiently in an EMR
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, patient-centred approach
- Ability to work full time, including weekends, with one weekday off
- Availability to work in person in Woodbridge
- Ability to work under direct physician supervision and follow clinical direction Preferred qualifications
- Previous Canadian clinical, scribe, medical-office, or physician-assistant experience
- Familiarity with Ontario family practice workflows, OHIP documentation, referrals, and laboratory/imaging follow-up
- Experience with EMR systems
- Phlebotomy, vaccination, or injection experience is an asset
