Job Description
Residential Security Guard Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shifts, 10 hrs, 12hrs, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening Wages: FAIR HOURLY Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements:
clear, concise written reports, effective verbal and radio communication, basic knowledge of computers for email and web use as applicable, using primarily a Windows based operating system

Education:
Will consider education and transferable skills Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Alberta Security Guard Licence, First Aid and AED *(asset)*, verbal de-escalation, non-violent crisis intrevention (NVCI).

Experience:
Will consider experience and transferable skills Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English at an effective level Type of Assignments: fixed post, foot patrol, patrol post, sit and stand for various lengths of time during the 10 hours or 12 hours shift Specific

Skills:
Enforce regulations of establishments, resolve conflict situations, maintain order, follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, control vehicular and pedestrian traffic, write reports Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking for extended periods of time.
