Overview The Line Cook / Kitchen Assistant supports daily kitchen operations through food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and food service. This hands-on role helps keep meals moving smoothly from preparation through serving while contributing to a clean, organized kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and meals according to kitchen instructions, maintaining consistent quality and timely service.
- Cook menu items, coordinate preparation tasks, and assist with serving food during service.
- Handle food carefully, follow food safety practices, and keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Support kitchen colleagues with routine tasks to help service run efficiently. Your impact: dependable preparation and serving help customers receive meals promptly.
- Help prepare karahi, curries, rice dishes and grilled items
- Keep workstations clean, organized and fully stocked
- Follow all food safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures
- Help with dishwashing, cleaning and closing duties as required Skills Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, food handling, and food safety capabilities are significant for completing kitchen duties carefully and supporting reliable food service.



Clear coordination with colleagues helps maintain an organized workflow and consistent service. Preferred: Food service experience, including serving, is helpful, as are restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or familiarity with the food industry. These strengths can support confident teamwork and smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, spices and food handling
- Experience with Pakistani or South Asian cuisine is an asset
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- A valid Food Handler Certificate is an asset (support is available to obtain one)
