761 LaSalle Blvd., Sudbury, ON Position Overview DeSimone Foot & Ankle Centre is seeking a mature, professional, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a professional clinical environment. This position involves working closely with our Chiropodists to support daily clinical operations, assist with patient care, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Chiropodists with daily patient care, including escorting patients to treatment rooms, preparing rooms, and completing post-treatment procedures.
- Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and reassemble medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established infection prevention and control protocols.
- Prepare sterile instrument packs and organize supplies for treatment rooms.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures, including preparing instruments, setting up treatment areas, and providing support during procedures.
- Support the delivery of therapeutic treatment programs under the direction of the Chiropodist.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.
- Ensure patient comfort, confidentiality, and a positive experience throughout their visit. Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College, CEGEP,



or other post-secondary certificate or diploma in a healthcare-related field is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a medical clinic, healthcare setting, or similar qualified environment is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems; experience with Mac OS is an asset.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or French.
- Willingness to learn new clinical procedures and follow established healthcare protocols. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is:
