- EVERY SECOND WEEKEND Hearts Choices | Calgary Farmers' Market West $18/hour + pooled tips (typically an additional $3-$4/hour) Hearts Choices is looking for an experienced, reliable cook to independently run our busy kitchen at Calgary Farmers' Market West every second weekend We're an award-winning, locally owned vegan food business serving Calgary since 2011. SCHEDULE Every Second Weekend (Required) Saturday: 8:30 AM
- 7:30 PM Sunday: 8:30 AM
- 5:30 PM Additional Weekly Prep Shifts Monday: 2:00 PM
- 8:30 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM The weekend market position is our priority. We'd love someone who can also cover the prep shifts, but don't let those additional hours discourage you from applying We're happy to discuss options with the right candidate. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Previous qualified cooking experience. Confidence running a busy kitchen independently, sometimes handling up to 80 orders per day. Strong cooking, prep, and organizational skills.



Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality. Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Willingness to accept direction and work as part of a team. Plant-based cooking experience is an asset, but not required.
