True Ways Homecare is a Calgary-based home care provider dedicated to delivering compassionate, reliable, and personalized care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for compassionate and dependable Health Care Aides (HCAs) to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Providing assistance with mobility, walking, and transferring.
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and feeding when required.
- Providing medication reminders and assistance within the scope of your training.
- Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or emotional well-being.
- Completing daily care notes and documenting services provided.
- Following individualized care plans and maintaining client confidentiality.



Qualifications
- Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate or equivalent recognized training.
- Previous home care or caregiving experience is an asset.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes throughout Calgary.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are an asset.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages is an asset.
