About the Role
Petros82 is seeking a professional, welcoming, and detail-oriented Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience. We are looking for someone with a polished appearance, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality who understands the standards and expectations of an upscale dining environment. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, personable, and capable of delivering warm, attentive, and professional service from the moment guests arrive until they are seated.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Operate and maintain the OpenTable reservation management system.
- Handle incoming phone calls, reservation inquiries, and guest requests.
- Maintain accurate reservation records, guest notes, special requests, and seating preferences.
- Coordinate table assignments and seating rotations in collaboration with the management and service teams.
- Manage guest waitlists and communicate accurate waiting times.
- Accommodate VIP guests, special occasions, and specific seating requests whenever possible.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at the entrance and throughout the dining room.
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with guest concerns and escalate situations to management when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the host stand and entrance area.




- Ensure every guest receives a consistent, personalized, and memorable welcome. Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess is preferred.
- Experience using OpenTable or similar restaurant reservation management systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, excellent grooming, and a polished presentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a rapid-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication.
- A natural ability to engage with guests and create a positive first impression.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest expectations.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
