WHAT WE DO Accurate Fabricating Ltd. is a heavy-duty industrial manufacturing plant in Surrey, BC. Since 1993, we have been engineering and building massive steel attachments for the forestry, mining, and construction sectors (excavator buckets, grapples, and couplers). Our equipment works in the toughest environments in North America, and the final finish is what protects it. We need an experienced industrial painter and blaster who takes pride in a flawless, durable coat. CROSS-PROVINCE APPLICANTS If you are a skilled industrial painter living outside of British Columbia and want to relocate to Surrey, we will help you make the move. Financial relocation assistance will be provided to the right qualified professional to cover transit and moving costs. YOUR DAILY JOB
- Surface Preparation: Operate industrial grit/shot blasting equipment to clean, descale, and prep massive raw steel structures and welded assemblies.
- Industrial Coating: Mix, match, and apply high-durability primers and heavy industrial polyurethanes/epoxies using conventional and airless spray systems.
- Quality Inspection: Measure wet and dry film thickness (DFT), inspect for runs, sags, or pinholes, and ensure the finish meets our strict quality standards.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, blast pots, and breathing air systems daily.
- Safety: Strictly follow internal ventilation, PPE,



and hazardous material storage protocols on the shop floor. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience blasting and painting within a heavy equipment, commercial transport, or industrial steel fabrication shop.
- Tool Proficiency: Expert knowledge of airless/conventional spray equipment, paint mixing ratios, and commercial sandblasting machinery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably inside blast booths while wearing full fresh-air hood systems.
- Reliability: Solid work ethic, attention to detail on steel prep, and a clean safety track record. WHAT WE PROVIDE IN RETURN
