Who we are
- We're a local specialty coffee roaster and café in Ottawa.
- We roast everything ourselves and serve it in a cozy, rustic café where people come to study, catch up and slow down.
- We take the coffee seriously and ourselves a little less.
- We love serving good coffee and taking care of our people.

About the role

- We're done with glossy product photos. We want our Instagram to feel like hanging out at the café.
- You'll be the face and voice of Happy Goat on Reels: roast days, new releases, behind the scenes, seasonal drinks coming up, etc.
- This isn't an influencer gig. The coffee and the cafés are the subject, and you're the guide.

What you'll do

- Make 3 to 4 Reels a week, from idea to posting.
- Start a few series people look forward to, like roast day, first sips of current drinks, or brewing at home.
- Be there for the fun stuff: new releases, seasonal menus, events.
- Show what happens behind the counter and in the roastery.
- Write captions that sound like a person, not a press release.
- Post Stories and chat with people in the comments and DMs.
- Sit down with the Marketing Director once a month to look at what's working and plan what's next. Who you are
- You're friendly, and you're yourself on camera, not a performer.
- You love coffee,



or you're curious enough to fall for it fast.
- You've made short videos before and can show us.
- You can shoot and edit in Adove or whatever you like.
- You know a good Reel when you see one, and why it works.
- You can keep a posting rhythm going on your own.
- You're enjoy a flexible schedule that keeps you inspired.
- You're fluent in English and allowed to work in Canada. Bonus points
- You speak French.
- You've worked as a barista or in specialty coffee.
- You know a bit about lighting and sound.
- You've posted short form content before.
- You have a driver's licence for trips to our other spots. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
